March 09 Privacy Policy (Updated)Greetings All!
Here is the official privacy policy for my business. Your massage therapy session involves only two people: me and you, unless you choose to involve someone else. The only exception to that is if you intend to harm yourself or someone else. In that case, it is my obligation to contact responsible authorities and let them decide how to proceed. As a professional, I am legally and ethically obligated not to discuss with others any priviledged information I am made party to. I firmly believe in respecting you as an individual, and respecting your privacy is part of that.
Medical files--Information found in your medical file, which includes your patient history and SOAP notes is priviledged, and as such, will not be released to any other party without your permission.
Billing information--Personally identifiable billing information (credit-card info, bank info, etc) will not be released to any other party except to legally collect a balance due, or as required by law.
Personal data--Personal data, such as your address, phone number, email, etc will not be released to any other party except to legally collect a balance due, or as required by law.
Destruction of documents--Any files or data that is no longer of use and is to be removed from record is destroyed by cross-cut shredding.
If there are any suggestions as to how this privacy policy may be improved, please email your suggestions to me at cigarce@msn.com. Thanks for visiting. Hope you have a GREAT day!
March 08 Mission Statement & Personal ProfileMy mission is to provide professional Massage and Neuro-Muscular Therapy to all medically qualified persons.
I am a 1998 graduate of the Colorado Institute of Massage Therapy and I am certified as a Neuromuscular Therapist. I am a firm believer in the uses of essential oils, and I use them in all aspects of my practice. I believe that massage therapy should be used as an adjunct to total health care, and I feel that clients should be pro-active in their own health care, and take personal responsibility for their health.
I have over 1150 hours of formal training and I am fully licensed to practice in the City of Colorado Springs and El Paso County. Effective January of 2009, I was Registered with the Colorado Department of Regulatory Agencies, as a pre-cursor to the elimination of local licensure. I am also a Professional Member of the American Massage Therapy Association. I believe that the practice of massage is the best way that I can give back to my Community.
Community Therapeutics provides "in-clinic" massage therapy by appointment only. No outcall services are offered at this time. Appointments can be made by calling direct at 719.310.5790 or by dropping an email to me at cigarce@msn.com.
Thanks for visiting my webspace. Hope you have a GREAT day!
