GrënX Green Tea HP

Greetings, All:

Just when you thought that I completely ignored this blog, I up and add something.  Let me tell you about GrënX Green Tea.  Not only is this mighty healthy stuff to drink (so much better than sodapop), but I have been enjoying the fact that my cholesterol is finally getting under control.  Of course, I am not minding the weight-loss thing at all, either!

There are some excellent financial reasons to be involved with this product as well....so if you want to know more, you gotta work and send me an email to cigarce@msn.com because I won't be blabbin' to just anybody....you gotta ask me!  LOL!!

Thanks for visiting, hope you have a GREAT day!Rainbow

Updates

Greetings, All!

I know, I know, I have been *such* a bad therapist byh neglecting this blog....but I have a *really* good excuse for that: I have a new blog at Perfect Fit Wellness Center.  Unlike this blog -- which is mainly used to post hours of operation, policies, and pricing -- the blog at Perfect Fit is interactive and includes the *entire* Perfect Fit Community!

So........quit reading this blog -- except to get hours of operation, policy, and pricing updates -- and zoom on over to the Perfect Fit website.  You do NOT need to be a member of Perfect Fit and best of all, It's FREE to join.

Oh, Duh, I guess I should give you the web address, huh?

Thanks for visiting.  Hope you have a GREAT day!Rainbow

Regarding Coupons & Discounts

Greetings, All:

Let me take a quick moment to clarify how coupons and other discounts work.

Please note the effective and expiration dates on the coupon.  I do this so that I can keep track of the various offers I make and see what offers work and which offers should be deleted.  Coupons that are out-of-date will not be honored.  Lost coupons will not be replaced.  "Double-Dipping" or combining multiple discounts is not allowed, so please don't ask me to do this.  Coupons good for "30 Min of Free Massage" may be used as a stand-alone session for 30 minutes, or may be used towards a full one hour session.  If used towards a one hour session, the charge will be the half hour massage rate for the first half hour and then the coupon will cover the next half hour.  This allows for accurate bookkeeping at the end of the year so the tax guys are nice to me (jail is *such* a nasty place....)   Coupons may not be redeemed for cash.  Most coupons may be used by any of your friends or family, or you may selfishly rub your hands together in anticipation for the massage that you are going to keep for yourself--which is what *I* would be doing <grin>, however there are occasional exceptions to this rule. Therapist's decision is final regarding redemption of coupons or discounts.

Change in Chiropractic Referrals (Updated)

Greetings, All!

I have recently changed my Chiropractic referrals to Palmer Chiropractic, a locally owned Falcon business.  I have been seeing Fran Palmer, DC for some back-and-neck issues and I highly recommend her services.  She has a very gentle touch and is very personable.  She and her husband Robert (also a Chiropractor) own Palmer Chiropractic, which is conveniently located in the Safeway shopping center, just a few miles away from my clinic.  Please patronize their business and keep Falcon growing!

Thanks for visiting, and I hope you have a GREAT day!

Policy Change for Medical Records (Updated)

Greetings, All:

Well, for my mid-life crisis, instead of buying a red Ferrari, I purchased a laptop computer which I have nicknamed "Red Ferrari."  I did this for two reasons.  First, there ain't no possible WAY I could afford to drive any type of Ferrari, red or otherwise.  Second, I thought that taking a tax-deduction on a Ferrari was stretching things just a bit, but a tax-deduction on a laptop was probably safer.  So I have a laptop for business use, and one of the things that I will be using it for is the storage of medical records.

Here is how this affects you.  Just like before, nobody has acess to your personal files except you, me, and the gatepost.  Well, OK, I will share with your Health Care Provider and your Insurance Provider if you give me your permission first.  I'll share with the Courts if they give me a warrant first, otherwise they can go pound sand.  On rare occasions, I will share a sanitized version (no names, just symptoms) with other medical professionals in order to get better ideas on how to best treat a particular set of symptoms.

Thanks for visiting.  Hope you have a GREAT day!

The Policy Page (Updated)

Greetings All!

Payment options:

Payments are due at time of service. I accept cash, local personal or business check, Bank Cheques, and PayPal internet payments (additional fees apply).  Sorry, but I do deposits daily, and do not keep any cash in the clinic to make change.

Returned Checks and Payments Due:

Mistakes happen.  If your check is returned unpaid by your bank or credit union, I will make every effort to contact you to arrange for you to make good on the payment and bank/admin fees.  If anything like this happens, and you make good on paying off your account, great! No harm, no foul.  If I am unable to contact you or if you do not make good on paying off your account, it is the policy of Community Therapeutics to persue appropriate legal action.

Refunds:

Refunds are generally NOT given except under very limited circumstance, such as Medical Orders (Dr letter req'd), Military Orders (copy of orders req'd), or entire package never used.  All other situations handled on a case-by-case basis.  In all cases, refunds are done by business check and the following refund formulas will apply:

Unused package -- Full refund until expiration date.

4 pack -- If only 1 session used; 50% purchase price refunded.  If only 2 sessions used, 25% purchase price refunded.  No other refunds given.

10 pack -- If only 1 or 2 sessions used, 70% purchase price refunded. If 3 or 4 sessions used, 40% purchase price refunded. If 5 or six sessions used, 20% purchase price refunded. No other refunds given.

Cancellations/No-Shows/Re-Scheduling/Lateness:

Hey, we all know that life happens.  One of the great things about massage is that massage can help smooth things over when life does a hairpin turn.  So, to be fair for eveyone, here is the policy for cancellations, no-shows, changing your appointment, or being late.

If you have to change your appointment, please call me at 719.310.5790 as soon as possible so that the next person can book your slot.  That's only fair, right?

If you have to cancel, that's OK too.  Call me right away!  We can change to a different date or time.  If you don't give me at least 2 hours advance notice though, I might have to charge you for the time, especially if nobody else books in your place.

Lateness:  Your time is as valuble as my time is.  So...if you arrive late, you will lose any time you have missed, and I will charge you for the full session.  On The Other Hand, fair is fair, after all.  If I am late to take care of you, then I will either provide the entire session or refund part of my fee back to your account.

No-Call/No-Show.  That's bad.  The first one is a freebie, because life happens, but after that, I will charge you for the full session or require payment in advance.

If scheduling issues, cancellations, or No-Shows become a habit, you may be dropped from my service or you may be required to pay for your therapy in advance.

Some people might think that these policies sound a bit harsh, but I'm sure you can understand that this is a fair and equal way of managing the business.

Thanks for visiting and hope you have a GREAT day!

Mission Statement & Personal Profile

My mission is to provide professional Massage and Neuro-Muscular Therapy to all medically qualified persons.

I am a 1998 graduate of the Colorado Institute of Massage Therapy and I am certified as a Neuromuscular Therapist.  I am a firm believer in the uses of essential oils, and I use them in all aspects of my practice.  I believe that massage therapy should be used as an adjunct to total health care, and I feel that clients should be pro-active in their own health care, and take personal responsibility for their health.

I have over 1150 hours of formal training and I am fully licensed to practice in the City of Colorado Springs and El Paso County.  Effective January of 2009, I was Registered with the Colorado Department of Regulatory Agencies, as a pre-cursor to the elimination of local licensure. I am also a Professional Member of the American Massage Therapy Association. I believe that the practice of massage is the best way that I can give back to my Community.

Community Therapeutics provides "in-clinic" massage therapy by appointment only.  No outcall services are offered at this time.  Appointments can be made by calling direct at 719.310.5790 or by dropping an email to me at        cigarce@msn.com.

Thanks for visiting my webspace.  Hope you have a GREAT day!
